One of my favorite things about being an author is talking to kids about my books and writing! As both an author and teacher, I create presentations that are engaging, inspiring, and age-appropriate. Topics include:

• Get to Know Me

  • I introduce myself and share significant moments in my life that shaped me as a reader and writer. I talk about the importance of my culture and family.​

• Write About YOU!

  • I talk about my connection and inspiration for writing THE MAGIC LUNCH BOX and THE MAGIC BLACK BELT. I provide writing tips which center around how our own personal experiences influence our stories.

• Korean Culture

  • I share my experience growing up as a Korean American, both the struggles and joys. I also talk about my favorite foods, songs, and more!​
