THE MAGIC LUNCHBOX Book Announcement!

I am so excited to finally announce the book deal for THE MAGIC LUNCHBOX! The book is slated to be released in the fall of 2023 with Capstone. This book has my entire heart, and I am so thankful that I get to share this story with the world. My editor, Alison Deering, had such a great vision and was able to connect so strongly with TML. I couldn't imagine a better person to have worked on this book with!

I don't even know where to begin... we began negotiating the contract last October. I tweeted vague publishing tweets with side eyes during this time period, dying to tell somebody. Originally, THE MAGIC LUNCHBOX started as a standalone, but eventually it developed into a chapter book series featuring main character, Ben Lee! Alison and the entire Capstone team have been a dream to work with. They sought out my opinion on every step, and I felt really involved in the process. We are now at the stage where the art is basically fully completed, and we are just waiting for the final design! It truly doesn't feel real...

Once the book is published, I will definitely be diving into some more specifics in terms of the publishing process, revisions, being on sub, etc!

For now, I would like to thank Alison, Jennifer (my agent!), my family, my writing friends on Twitter who never stopped supporting me, and Ben (my amazing husband!).
